INTRODUCTION
This stretch of cruising ground offers an abundance of secure anchorage spots making it easy for you to set the pace of your vacation and spend your days at leisure, lazing away. Starting your vacation in Gocek is very convenient due to its close proximity to Dalaman airport and the number of bays which are only 30 minutes away from the harbour. From here on out the following 7 days can be spent moving from one bay to another, exploring small seaside villages and visiting historical sites dating back to 5th century B.C.

Day 1 / Göcek
This small harbour town is a perfect starting point for your cruise. Located only 20 minutes away from Dalaman International Airport, Gocek has an easy to discover town centre with all the restaurants and shops you may wish to explore before leaving harbour to swim and overnight in a bay of your choice.

Day 2 / KAUNOS
The ancient site of Kaunos is best discovered with a private traditional river boat. Upon reaching Ekincik Bay, your very own river boat will pick you up and take you past Caretta Beach, through the windy marshlands of Dalyan delta, straight to the entrance of Kaunos historical site . Marvel at the display of grand Lycian tombs scattered along the cliffs and enjoy a blue crab lunch on the river bank before heading back to your yacht for relaxing and overnighting in a bay.

Day 3 / LORYMA
Loryma and Pirate Bay and are just two of the great options for dropping anchor and relaxing throughout the day. Loryma Bay is especially fantastic for water sports due to its wide surface and its waters being well protected from open sea weather and waves.

Day 4 / SELIMIYE
After exploring and relaxing in bays of your choice in the Gulf of Hisaronu, you can move towards Selimiye harbour for the evening to go for a walk and explore this small sea side village. Very under developed and still carrying its local charm, this village with a limited number of souvenir shops and great restaurants is a great option for an evening out.

Day 5 / DATÇA
Today’s westward crossing is generally ideal for opening sails and travelling with the sound of soothing steady winds. There will be plenty of swim spots to drop anchor and enjoy lunch and water sports. If interested in visiting another Turkish town, Datca is a great option to either overnight or for a quick tour before heading back out to a bay for the night.

Day 6 / KNIDOS
Cruise to Palamut Buku bay for the earlier part of your day and let the children enjoy running around on this long stretch of pebble beach. While possessing magnificently transparent waters this beach is still uncrowded to its long distance by road access as well as being distant to any harbour. For the evening move towards grand ancient site of Knidos to take in its 2500 year old history and overnight in its natural protection.

Day 7 / ORAK ISLAND
Spend the early portion of your day swimming and sunbathing in secluded bays such as Mersincik and Orak Island before moving closer toward Bodrum for the evening. If nightlife is what interests you then Bodrum does offer a variety of bars and night clubs or if you would like to spend your final evening under the stars, there are plenty of secure anchorage options close to Bodrum but far enough to avoid the city lights and noise.
