Getaway
Crew Information
The professional staff that will be at your service aboard
Getaway consists of five crew members, all officially
certified seamen. They will be at your service through day
and night to make your stay as comfortable and pleasant
as possible.
Captain
Captain Sakin has been onboard Getaway since this luxury yacht’s days at the shipyard. He is a true gentleman who has
been in this profession a long time and has worked both in private and charter motor yachts and sailing yachts. His name
means ‘calm’ and that is exactly the way he likes to run his crew, calm and with precision.
Chef
Izzet started working in restaurants from a very young age and has since developed an expansive repertoire. Not only can he bring to life those strong flavors of Turkish cuisine but he is also skilled in Italian, French, Thai, and Japanese cuisine. He has worked in multiple restaurants for twelve years and also during the last five years onboard charter yachts.
Deckhand
Aydin has been working on sailing yachts since the past 6 years and he is the captain’s right hand onboard. He is always in a
good mood and carries a comforting smile with him everywhere. Very hard worker that he is, he will be in charge of
making sure Getaway is kept in pristine condition from the moment you step aboard until you disembark.
Steward
Coskun has been working on luxury yachts both private and charter over the recent years, but he received his training
onboard The Star Clipper Cruiselines where he had the opportunity to cruise in many different parts of the world with
guests from all over the world. It is this unique experience which makes Coskun the perfect host for attending to our
guests’ needs and guaranteeing a superior service quality onboard.
Cabin Attendee
Engin is another one of our crew members who has had the opportunity to receive training in cross Atlantic voyages
onboard larger passenger ships. He will be in charge or the cabins and refreshing supplies onboard during your cruise. He is
as quiet as he is fast in attending to his duties.
